Samsung, ZTE Take the Lead in China Telecom's CDMA Tender Results

Results of China Telecom's tender for five million CDMA mobile phones were made public in early September, with Samsung and ZTE accounting for the largest shares in the overall contracts, according to an Oriental Morning Post report. Samsung won the largest order of one million CDMA mobile phones, and the runner-up ZTE obtained a contract for 900,000. Other notable tender winners include the first-timers Ningbo Bird, K-Touch, Okwap, Gionee, GXT, and Aigo. The CDMA orders released by China Telecom cover the whole range from high-end to value-line phones, according to said report.
